Cloud Computing for E-Commerce Platforms: Performance and Scalability Analysis

Abstract
E-commerce applications require scalable infrastructure capable of handling large volumes of transactions and user traffic. This paper analyzes the role of cloud computing in improving the performance and scalability of e-commerce systems. The proposed cloud-based architecture supports dynamic resource allocation, secure payment processing, and high availability services. Performance evaluation shows improved response time, reduced downtime, and efficient workload management during peak shopping periods. The study concludes that cloud computing provides a reliable foundation for modern e-commerce platforms.
