Abstract

The rapid growth of cloud storage services has increased the need for efficient data management and storage optimization. This paper investigates various data deduplication techniques used in cloud storage systems to eliminate redundant data copies. File-level and block-level deduplication methods are analyzed based on storage efficiency, processing overhead, and security considerations. The proposed model combines encryption with intelligent deduplication algorithms to ensure data confidentiality and reduced storage costs. Results indicate significant improvements in storage utilization and bandwidth efficiency in large-scale cloud environments.
