Cloud Computing in Higher Education: Opportunities and Challenges
Main Article Content
Abstract
Higher education institutions increasingly use cloud computing technologies to improve teaching, learning, and administrative operations. This paper explores the applications of cloud computing in virtual classrooms, digital libraries, online examinations, and collaborative research platforms. The study highlights benefits such as reduced infrastructure costs, improved accessibility, and flexible learning environments. Challenges including cybersecurity risks, internet dependency, and data privacy concerns are also analyzed. The paper concludes that cloud computing can significantly enhance educational quality and institutional efficiency when implemented effectively.
